Care Instructions:

Machine Wash separately on Delicate Cycle. Low Temperature Dry. Use just a little detergent, too much is not good for the fibers. Remove from dryer promptly and shake gently to loosen fibers and avoid wrinkling. Because of the advanced spinning technique used to maximize the softness of the yarn, this item will release some lint in the dryer, this is normal and will not affect the product use, comfort or life. It isn't necessary to wash product before use.

So, I've been around awhile and purchased alot of blankets in my life.
The first cotton blanket I purchased was from a department store, which was a cotton king sized that shrunk to a queen in one wash, barely making it over the side of the bed. We kept it for many years, playing blanket snatch and grab every night.
After purchasing a new bed, it was time for a new blanket. I found one on A***n, that was made in India and literally shrunk 10 inches on all sides; obviously returned!
Lastly, I bought the American Blanket oversized king. Love, love, love this blanket: wonderful feel and weight, heirloom quality. This will probably be the last blanket I'll ever purchase.
The blanket is actually longer than I needed since we have a very low profile bed with legs that are only 3 inches, but the mattress is 15 inches. I cheated a little and washed right after receiving in a warm temp, warm dryer setting, changing it to the highest heat to finish off the drying process in hope of shrinking it a bit. Worked perfectly. I would say it shrunk maybe 2 inches on each side, and now it's the right length for my bed.
No more snatching and grabbing anymore; two happy old folks!

Great Blankets!

I recently bought 3 cotton blankets--2 twin sized and one throw. They are wonderful--thick, well-made, and warm. It's not easy to get all-cotton bedding anymore, especially that's so well-made. I highly recommend these blankets!

Cotton Blanket Chevron Weave

The king sized blanket is beautiful, fits our bed perfectly with a long hangover at the foot of the bed that we can tuck in. Perfect weight to keep us warm enough at night, but not too hot.
